    1. Wow! Thank you, Amber! I really appreciate your support. I need to learn how to do these banners and buttons . . . Need to contact my tech support. That would also be my publisher and cover artist and you-name-it. Heh.

    1. Thank you so much, Patti Jo! I'm both excited and nervous about this. It's been years since I've had anything new published, and going indie is an adventure!
Just let Anne Elisabeth know (address above) that you want to be part of the cover reveal, and she will send you everything you need. (I am soooo spoiled.) And I would love to be featured on your blog next spring! This means a lot to me.
      Hugs back!

    1. Thank you, Becky.
I'm recovering from pneumonia/pleurisy at the moment, so I get tired just thinking about writing. :-) But the joy will return, I'm sure.

    1. Thank you, Becky! I'm sorry I didn't see your comment sooner. I guess I was REALLY out of it last month. I am just now starting to feel like myself again. I really appreciate the thought and the prayers. I was thinking today how thankful I am that I wasn't sick like that over the holiday season. :-)

  8. Your book looks so exciting. I would love to know how long it took you to research all the information you needed for that time period.

    1. Hello Jo-Anne! Thank you. :-) Actually, I wrote a novella set during the French Revolution a number of years ago and started collecting books and information then. When I decided to write a full-length novel in that time period, I already had a head start! But since I started seriously writing this book last spring, I have learned a whole lot more. There is always more to learn. The hardest part is discovering accounts that contradict each other and trying to figure out which would be the most accurate! I suppose this shouldn't be too surprising, since it can be difficult to get two accounts that agree perfectly on something that happened yesterday. :-D
